“In November 2012 we started by changing the type of crop used, and with a lot of effort and hard work, in just a few years this farm has completely ‘changed colour’.

We have also chosen to enter into a Participatory Guarantee System (PSG), so that other producers can certify the way we do the things, thus supporting product quality.

We intend to continue with this project, obtaining a quality product, supporting other similar projects, and relying on those who trust us and our know-how. We also use a brush cutter to control some herbs, in an attempt to promote the legumes that naturally grow in this area’s ground.

We also plant green fertilisers for nitrogen fixation by planting broad beans, chickpeas and other legumes.

Our farm is a space open to any consumer who wants to learn about this crop, the techniques we apply or simply to taste the produce at its place of origin. Is this something that interests you?”
